Sorry for being slow with the reply today. I saw your comment earlier but had to go to work. i was so exhausted when i got home, i forgot about replying until now. (Slept for an hour after work, then got some thing done around the house. Ect.)
anyway, That link will take peoples to the site that i am making the music for. I have to go out of state for 10 days on a work trip starting thursday. so that is going to reaaaaally mess up my music schedule.
I am off to bed now. BTW check my youtube channel. I uploaded a new song there. (one found on my soundcloud, but still, new for youtube.)
I think that this guy has good potential with this series. And because of that, (and the fact he asked to use one of my songs), I want to make it better with music excusive music.
I have had a few ideas for improvements here and there, but I am not going to push Ben at all. It's his story and I know (as an writer of both written and musical projects) that most of the time, things that seem questionable at first often have logic behind the reasons. i will try some gentle nudging with fight scenes to guide him in the right direction for best delivery.
Most people only know me for my music. but alot of my friends from deviant art and my creative writing nerds from back in college, continually tell me that i am a damn good story writer too. i have spent more time writing stories and researching what makes good characters or plot lines, than i EVER spent on writing music. I have gone to the point of reading several books and stories (Fanfiction) that were HORRIBLE reads, just to see what not to do when writing and creating stories. (Inheritance Saga for one example of what not to do. (i consider it published fanfiction because of it's obvious inspiration from other written and flim based stories.))
Only one band was involved, actually. That being Daft Punk, whom I can't imagine has any problem with it.
The music hasn't been touched at all. It's the album "Discovery", go and youtube it if you want to hear it. If it sounds like "warped elevator music" to you, then you prolly just don't like Daft Punk.
Boo hoo, don't show up early for rifftrax.
Also, consider yourself warned for Rule 1d. Enjoy!
The moderators are kind of one sided on the whole series. They warned me for directly saying I was BORED of the series and the after a lengthy conversation with one I said I would give my criticism for the show more constructively and said exactly how I felt about it.
To me the series is an insult to the bands who created the music. They make it sound like its warped elevator music that have been mangled to fit their animation. Its worse that people tend to repeatedly spam through the entire series while your waiting for the Rifftrax to show up.
They had two people comment that it won't end because its been going on forever. The Mod, suspecting Timmy, decided to ban me until Wednesday afternoon for 'rule 3d' or in short trolling. I'm trying to express my criticism for the series and they snuff out any view against it. That is pretty sad.
I am looking forward to being able to play a lot of them to say the least(the main games) when the legacy collection comes out in July, being one of the unfortunate owners of a non backwards compatible PS3.
I didn't even know anyone LOOKED at my youtube videos. haha!
Sorry for not replying sooner. I haven't been active due to a mixture of nobody EVER replying or commenting on my thread, as well as being busy with life.
I am probably going to post my toonami tracks for free soon, at least once i get a few other tracks polished enough to make a short album, that is.
here is a new demo i am working on: https://soundcloud.com/digitalvalues/the-cutoff-demo
Unfortunately, that is my only song for you guys, other than a few other songs for a cartoon web series, but none of those will be heard before the series creator ok's them for preview.
If there is to be a new block on Toonami Aftermath. Make it either of Moltar or new Toonami. Nobody is asking to remove the classics from this website, only to simply expand the website and make it Continue To Rock.
Actually, it was recently stated that they are continuing the series into the Buu saga. The voice actors for Goku and Gohan confirmed that they are recording lines for the series right now.
I admit, I like the theme song. However, once I heard DBZ Kai voice of Freiza, it was not near to what I am use to. I think of DBZ Kai as the New Coke, where as DB and DBZ are Classic Coke. I say no, but thank you for the suggestion.
I see what you're saying and I agree with you, that Toonami Aftermath has all of their old shows. But some of their new ones could be included too. The word aftermath signifies something that occurs after an event. Hence the name Toonami Aftermath could either reference something that occurs after the original Toonami has happened, or after the modern one. And why not put new shows on here, the current one is just as good as their old one. Some people say that it is just the ASA block with the Toonami name. I say that it is a continuation of where they left off, although with a slightly lowered budget. Plus, playing the same show over and over could be tiring after a while. So while I agree that it should play most of their old shows, they should energize it by incorporating some of their new shows in a block as well.
There are enough streams for new anime out there. Go looking and you'll find at least a dozen.
Hell, most of the series on Toonami right now you can watch through legit stream services like Hulu.
Also, keep in mind this is called Toonami Aftermath, referencing the old days of Toonami. Most of us come here to watch the stream because we like the old fashioned schedule and old cartoons.
Not trying to knock your show suggestion downs, but if you really want to watch the latest and greatest, you have a variety of online options. There aren't too many options for cartoons like Sailor Moon and Cartoon Planet.
I know right? I haven't had cable since 2008 so now if I want to see new toonami I have to hope that one of my friends with cable will let me watch at least an hours worth and its always a hassle since a lot of my friends don't like anime. I just hope toon will at least consider expanding this website for the sake of action anime fans. I would fall into a deeper love with this website than I did a year ago if it would just cross more borders than TOM 1 and TOM 2.
I don't have very high hopes though, it doesnt seem like many aftermath members like toonami for anything other than nostalgia, I mean just look how low the amount of comments are for this thread. The irony kills me really, Toonami is supposed to be futuristic and all these Toonami "fans" only want the past.
And if I had the money to just go and start a stream that was more Toonami Faithful, I would just get cable for the one channel I adore.
I would love to see the modern day Toonami block on here. I just started going to this site recently and noticed that it didn't have any of their current shows. Who wouldn't want to see Bleach, Naruto, One Piece and DBZ together on the same site. Plus, you could make a whole new block just for their current shows, which people that don't get a chance to watch on TV, could come here and watch. I think that putting the current lineup on here would be a good idea.
Most definitely. This show is just too good to not be on here
So mean toon..... What if someone else makes it?
http://kerslashtv.com/index.htm is the site where you can find out stuff about it.

The cutoff sounds pretty sweet like old JBV tracks for Toonami
I'm curious about this cartoon webseries youre making music for. Im a cartoon/music addict.
I've never seen it but have been curious about it ever since I heard Depthcharge on Toonami: Deep Space Bass and would love to catch it on here.
I would rather listen to country than dubstep.
Has anybody here listened to RAM yet? http://youtu.be/b7NnuuFZpVk
I think you should use our suggested format. *CLOSED*
Also, consider yourself warned for Rule 1d. Enjoy!
obligatory
Oh do go on *popoface*

I would really love to see this mini series again. It was very good and would make a good addition to the schedule
Any anime with a cover of "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls as an intro is okay by me.
It would be remiss of Toonami Aftermath NOT to add this embodiment of machismo to the line up.
DBZ Kai? On MY Toonami Aftermath?! No thank you, good sir.

I would love to see an emote of Mr. Popo.
