After a horrific car crash, Dr Tenma lost his beloved son Tobio. Out of grief, he built a robotic son named Astro as a replacement; but soon after, Dr Tenma had the boy deactivated and put into a deep sleep. In the present, the scientist Dr O'Shea finds Astro and risks everything to reactivate him, train him to be a hero of justice, and raise him to be a functioning member of society. Amidst the prejudice of humanity, the pacifistic Astro will promote peace, battle the forces of injustice, and attempt to bridge the gap between humans and machines.

it's a remake of one of the greatest anime series of all time and the animation is very beautiful i could totally see on TA i would like it to go with Cyborg 009 when ever that shows up on here.
I say yes, but I only say yes because I believe this was once at a time aired on the original Toonami.
This would be cool, but I say play the original. I'm sure the reboot is the better overall series. But on a site dedicated to reviving that old school Toonami feel, Airing the black and white at 2 in the morning on weekends would feel more authentic imo. Since this isn't a thread for the original I still say yes to this one.
