Exo Squad is an early 90's American cartoon series set in the future where mankind has expanded into the stars and colonized Venus and Mars, creating what is known as the Homeworlds. In doing so, mankind (or Terrans as they are refered to in the show) have created a new artificial humanoid race known as neosapiens to use as slave labor in colonizing the newly terraformed planets. With the Homeworlds on the virge of war with the pirate clans (those who were exiled from the Homeworlds) the Earth government dispatches their entire fleet to deal with this looming threat. With the fleet gone, the Neosapien Governor of Mars, Phaeton leads a revolt against the Homeworlds and succeeds in capturing them while the fleet is away, leading to the Neosapien War. The series follows Able Squad, an elite E-frame unit (Think the exosuit cargo loader from Aliens, only made for combat) as they fight to reclaim the Homeworlds.
The show fits great with Toonami as it is inspired by anime, and it shows (especially the robots, because who doesn't like giant robots?). It was a favorite show of mine growing up, and it is all in English and i would love to see it on Toonami.

This show isn't really my thing, but hell, if it brings back Nostalgia then I say go for it.

Wow, I have some of these action figures that i got when i was about 5 and I never bothered researching about them. Never thought about what exo squad was, just liked playing with them when I got them.
