Description: Naota is a normal Japanese 6th grade boy (although a little cynical), but when his older brother leaves for America to play baseball, his brother leaves his homeless 17 year old girlfriend Mamimi behind. Mamimi is sending mixed signals and advances to Naota, and he doesn't know what to do about her. But to make matters worse, Naota's world is totally turned upside down when he is run over by a woman on a Vespa. During their first encounter, she hits him over the head with her guitar, which then causes a horn to grow out of his forehead. She calls herself "Haruko" and her presence changes Naota's life to even further insanity.

Reason: I enjoy this show because of the creativity Japanese writer Yoji Enokido put into making the characters and story. I would like to see it on the stream because I've never seen the last episode. To make a long story short It was three years ago, I had watched 5 out of 6 episodes, and when I finished watching the 5th episode I saw the 6th was about to air. At the time I didn't know FLCL was only a 6 episode series so I just turned off my tv and went to sleep because I couldn't continue watching.
Fooly Cooly being a 6 episode series would fit in well with the lineup I would imagine. It doesn't take off much time from the lineup and every episode can air in one day.
everyone got their own opinion and taste so if u dont like it just dont watch it simple i will and other people will too
Great post, I would have never considered the show before your post was very helpful it could make a great special feature for the weekend some day. I'll have to screen a few episodes to know for sure. Thank you for following the guidelines it helps a lot, I awarded you 10 rep welcome to the Toonami Aftermath forums.
FLCL would be great to add. Definitely one of my favorite shows.
FL CL would be an awesome addition on here, i htink it would b best shown on the weekends
it's a fantastic show, the only concern is how short it is. definitely one for the weekends.
FACT: Before the Avatar: The Last Airbender animators began making avatar, the director made them all buy the FLCL boxed set and watch it through.
Fooly Cooly would be a great weekend addition. It's not some random anime that most people who don't like it think it is, it's had so much effort put into developing it. literally watching the show frame by frame you will notice things that you would not notice in actually playing.
And it has meaning behind the craziness. It has many meanings though... much like the name of the show has many meanings. but basically the moral of the show on the whole is about growing up; being a kid and trying to act like an adult, and being an adult and acting like a kid. Maturing. Also the medical mechanica stuff is like "think for yourself, be who you wanna be" type stuff
just keep in mind as you watch it (anyone) that episodes 2 + 3 have the least to do with anything as far as the big picture goes. so don't watch 3 episodes and say "there is no point to this show". it's only six episodes long, if your going to watch 3 episodes you can just as easily watch 3 more
my personal favorite is episode 4: "nothing can happen till you swing the bat". it's inspiring in the way the old toonami bumps were/are
i find it funny people where saying they hate the show till toon came over and said he loved it here

I hate fooly cooly with all my heart. Sorry no offence but that is just how I feel.
