Ghost in the Shell is a futuristic police thriller dealing with the exploits of the cyborg Motoko Kusanagi, a member of a covert operations division of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission known as Section 9. The unit specializes in fighting technology-related crimes. Although supposedly equal to all other members, Kusanagi fills the leadership role in the team, and is usually referred to as "the Major" due to her past rank in the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. She is capable of superhuman feats, and bionically specialized for her job — her body is almost completely mechanized; only her brain and a segment of her spinal cord remain organic.
This show would fit great with toonami because of its Action and drama. there is also a movie that pretty bad-ass. all episodes and some movies are Dub in English.

^ Movie Trailers. (sorry something werid is going on)
I hope not... The stream is starting to feel like shitty AS because of FMA being added.
Seconded.
well maybe we could only play the movies. they're pretty bad ass.
it could be worse, we could be watching Inuyasha.
Oh God Not Inuyasha!
P.S. if there is a GitS Post. sorry about that. i didn't see it =/
These Adult Swim animes keep popping up and some are starting to make in it the schedule (FMA...) I can see this one being the ice breaker for the rest. If this one goes up then its gonna be " why not Inuyasha or Bleach?" I like alot of the shows being posted, I just dont wanna see them on Toonamiaft, when Iv seen them to death on Adult Swim. Trigun stays though. Dont touch my Trigun.
Yeah I agree DC. I was talking about that the other day. People got mad at me for discussing it. I think FMA is already reaching the edge of AS. Like I said in the chat if someone suggests Ghost in the shell. What is going to keep bleach or inuyasha from showing up sooner or later? People should suggest old good animes that people aren't really familiar with. Also I think it might be wise to make it where people can not suggest shows currently being shown on AS. It may help lower the chances.
I gotta agree with this show going on the stream. It's one of those shows I'll always be grateful to [AS] for introducing me to, and it really does fit the stream.
I highly disagree with the tv episodes being on here just because AS still shows it every Saturday night, aside from that, im good with the movies.

Am i going crazy or did someone just suggest this yesterday? I could have sworn there was another topic about it.
I'd totally be up for watching G:itS my only problem with the series is that you miss one episode and you are forever lost if you dont find time to catch the repeat or watch it yourself.
