Description:  The story follows Kagome Higurashi after she is dragged into an old magic well by a demon. She finds herself in Sengoku era Japan, a world torn by war where demons run rampant. The village she is taken to is attaked by the same demon that dragged her into the well and she is forced to run into the forest where she finds and awakens Inuyasha. Having been stuck to a tree 50 years earlier with a subduing spell Inuyasha is unable to fight back. The demon proceeds to rip a jewel out of Kagome's stomach and you find out that it's the Shikon no Tama, a powerful artifact that gives immense power to demons and is said to grant whoever holds it a wish. Kagome releases Inuyasha in an effort to save herself and he does indeed save her useless a. . . butt. She soon finds out that he may not be the hero she imagined him to be though. A priestess places a bewitched necklace on Inuyasha for Kagome to control and he's basically forced into slavery. A day or two later during a fight with a demon Kagome somehow manages to split the jewel into many shards which are scattered across feudal Japan. Kagome must work together with Inuyasha to gather the shards and hilarity ensues. . . Ok, it's not all fun and games. A plethora of demons are after the shards of the jewel shards and will stop at nothing to get them. As the story progresses a cornucopia of new allies and enemies appear and character depth is given to most making for an interesting watch.

Reason:  I enjoy Inuyasha for a variety of reasons; An easily hateable villain, beautiful animation, a continuous, coherent plot, great character depth and lots of cool explosions and blood and stuff. It is a great, dark action show with a lot of comedy and romance mixed into the equation. It should be mentioned that Inuyasha: The Final Act english dub should be released soon by Viz Media so you would have a complete storyline which is more than I can say for Ranma or Rurouni Kenshin for that matter. I admit that I am new to this site so I'm not sure how or where you could integrate it into the schedule but it should be easy to do when a less popular show finishes.

I enjoyed it back in the day, I think I might enjoy seeing it again.

Side note though, maybe you could edit in a youtube link or wikipedia link for the benifit of formating? smiley

Only like 10 episodes are even remotely worth considering. Overall, hell to the no.

Even though it's not 85% Fan Service like Ranma 1/2 is, it's nowhere near as entertaining. My vote is NO.

Hahaha NO. Heck I rather see freaking hamtaro on here than that horrid filler of a show. Only good thing about it is some of the opening songs and the VA is Kai Shiden, famous for piloting the GunCannon in UC.
