Adult Swim schedule says Deadman Wonderland & Casshern Sins are the only things new on :/
Same AS animes + two new shows ≠ Toonami
They may pull in some nostalgic things later, especially if the fanbase calls out for it.
But Toonami is not just the programming, it is Tom, the promos, game reviews and videos they create from the show content... soooo I am still excited even if the content is all new stuff...
That and Casshern Sins is great and I have been wanting to see Deadman Wonderland soooo ... *WOOT* *fangirl spazzes*
Hmm, I feel that it's a bit too good to be true, but at the same time I'm not complaining. I'm probably going to forget that it's airing so I'm going to be disappointed in some way whether this be a joke or the fact that I'll probably miss it when it airs.
Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins will be two new anime airing this Sunday. Those are some great pick ups especially Deadman Wonderland it hasnt even been releasd here in the states yet. They also mentioned wanting to air One Piece, Panty&Stocking and some others but they dont have the cash right now everyone needs to tune in Saturday Night! support Toonami so it can pick u more series or it will just wind up getting canceled again
Update: Adult Swim's entire anime schedule for early morning May 27 is as follows:
12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Deadman Wonderland
1:00 a.m. - Casshern Sins
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
The schedule then repeats between 3:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.
DeMarco added that Toonami will not be showing Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and similar titles since "the rights to those shows are
by our competition or are out of our price range." He continued, "Something you should know about THIS Toonami: We have very, very little $$. This experiment will need ratings success to receive more funding for new shows, more [mascot character] Tom animation, etc. I'm thankful for the $$ we've gotten, but it isn't a lot."
DeMarco also clarified Adult Swim's May 16 press release, which said that the network is developing "new original anime programming" for Toonami's return. Toonami will not have original titles created specifically for the programming block, "just new acquisitions." DeMarco said that he personally "love[s] One Piece and would love to see it on CN again" along with Gundam Wing. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Fairy Tail, and Inuyasha: The Final Act are some of the "many shows we've been looking at" or discussed.
DeMarco confirmed that Steven Blum will reprise his role of Tom, which "will be an updated hi-res version of Tom 3.0" aboard a slightly different but almost identical version of the spaceship Absolution. However, the character Sara will not appear for now ("costs too much to make"), and Peter Cullen will not be the voice of the block's promos due to his busy work schedule. The anime titles will keep their theme songs, and Toonami "will make our own 'pre' intros."
New schedule looks pretty decent. I'd be watching regardless though, as we need to keep this going even it is isn't as good as the April Fools schedule. They can always change the schedule around, so it doesn't bother me. We have to support it for nostalgia purposes. Besides, we finally have Bebop on Toonami, so it can't be that bad.

Steven Blum Aka Tom Aka Spike announcing/introducing himself that should be interesting I expect a little inside joke wise crackXD
Not being able to have Sarah for now doesnt really bother me she was never really featured much anyways Tom is all we need. I was hoping for a new min special tho like the Intruder to where see how he got his new upgrade.
Thought i should add some quotes from DeMarco's twitter "We will try to have some new content each week- game reviews, music videos, content pieces etc. As much as we can afford and make."
"SPEAKING OF WHICH: Something you should know about THIS Toonami: We have very, very little $$. This experiment will need ratings success..."

Hell yeah bring back the awesome music videos cant wait to see a new one I doubt they will ever be able to top Dreams tho..
I'm down with that. Many complaints. That was to be expected though, still I'm gonna support it anyway.

Why would we stop?
