My Take On Things,

-Gundam 00 Would've Been Nice

Considering 00 isn't getting the push it deserves on Syfy AT ALL,Yet They Still Own The Rights :/

I dont understand why all these anime snobs are getting mad @ the Toonami fans

who want more of a nostalgic lineup in due time, after all this is Toonami we're talking about! haha.

-High School Of The Dead can get some good exposure and gain

some new fans through Toonami as well, hope it finds it's way to the block sometime.

-I'm pretty sure no DBZ made alot of us sad inside though, let's be truthful

though at this point it should be expected that [AS] couldn't get the rights from

Nick or Funi.It must sting a bit to see one of their biggest shows by their competition.

I Wonder If They Could Use The Ocean Dub's?

-In a Perfect World An Even Balance Of Shows,Both New And Old Would Be Awesome

And Would Cater To Alot Of Viewer's Expectations Hence No More Bitching From Either Side Of The Fence

Heres An Example,Please Note That I'm Playing The Devil's Advocate Here:

12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Dragonball Z
1:00 a.m. - Cashern Sins
1:30 a.m. - Gundam 00
2:00 a.m. - High School Of The Dead
2:30 a.m. - Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood

Well, Triassic, keep in mind that they're working off of a really small budget. As of now, Toonami's revival is experimental, and I don't think they'd want to get into licensing agreements for popular (meaning, expensive) shows without ensuring that they wouldn't take a huge loss.

Like a gentleman.

First off, the Adult Swim Executives have stated before that the schedules on Adult Swim.com and Wikipedia are false and that they're keeping the real schedule a secret until they air it. (Don't believe me here's the link: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-05-18/toonami-new-schedule-to-be-kept-secret-until-may-26)

I hope that for Saturday, the roster could consist of:

12:00 Bleach

12:30 Dragon Ball Z

1:00 Gundam Wing

1:30 Batman: The Animated Series

2:00 Outlaw Star

2:30  Yu Yu Hakusho

3:00 Big-O

3:30 Cowboy Bebop

4:00 Young Justice? (or some other new DC or Marvel cartoon)

4:30 Trigun

5:00 The Slayers

5:30 Some other new anime (maybe even Sgt. Frog)

Now I hope that these shows do make their way to Toonami in some form since they're staples of the program and it probably wouldn't be the same if they were on. I do realize that there opponents that would declare this schedule too nostalgia based, but in order to get the ratings boost that Adult Swim and Williams Street are looking for by bringing back the Toonami name, they need those classic shows in order to get the older fans interested in the shows and by seeing these new shows along with their favorites, the new shows will take off and eventually replace the older shows if the newer shows are that good. And all the speculation about DBZ not coming back I would think sounds a bit fishy since Funi and Nick own Kai and the original dub is probably still in the air.

I hope that the suppossed leaked schedule is wrong, but all I can do is hope and if they're gonna pull this, at least I have Aftermath after the first night.

You mean the only one they still have the rights to. Also, "Peter Cullen will not be the voice of the block's promos due to his busy work schedule." Feels Batman.

Thx Hazel and Costa

Damn but still even if DBZ is too expensive, they shouldn't blame Nick and 4Kids for not getting DBZ since they have the rights to DBZ Kai and GT locked down. As far as I know, Kai and GT are separate properties and the oringinal Funimation Dub of DBZ (with all the filler) should be allowed to be used on channels outside of Nick and whatever 4Kids runs on. Or I wouldn't think getting the rights to run some of the other Toonami classics would be that expensive. (I wouldn't think Yu Yu Hakusho is too expensive) But I hope that soon they'll get enough money and some of the other classic shows can be shown along with the new shows.
