i could just not see this air if toonami was still around and isn't TA all about old skool toonami and keeping it old skool, yes i know there is FMA, Bebop and numerous other AS shows on TA but i don't like that they are on here either, not that they are not good but they don't have the old toonami feel
Honestly, no hate towards the show (i absoultely love the show, and everything about it) but i can't really see it here. Unless maybe it was switched in and out of rotation with Cowboy Bebop, which i find will be very unlikely, since Bebop has the whole space theme going on.

This is exactly what I think would work, perhaps a rotation or maybe just replace the second ep of Cowboy Beebop with a Samurai Chanploo ep. Especially since Beebop isn't that long and gets old after watching it for the umpteenth time (IMO).

Didn't like it nearly as much as Bebop, but still a solid show and I think that it'd fit well here thematicaly on a late-night or weekend evening slot.

I say yes, love this show. The opening is sex and the action/fighting things competes on a level of its own. If anything it can go up next to Kenshin because sword bros should stick together. xD
