I was asked to explain how I put music on my profile, so I figured I may as well make a tutorial for everyone. ^.^

  • The first step is to go to your profile and click "Edit".
  • Then click "Profile", because it's the ONLY section that allows video embedding.
  • Next, click "Input format" and select "video". You'll also see a link for more information about formatting under it; I definitely recommend that you read it. It's full of useful information.
  • Now click "Switch to plain text editor" so you can code your music.
  • Copy this code: [video:"PASTE YouTube URL HERE" height:1 width:1 autoplay:1]
  • Et voila! You have music on your profile! Now dance to it! We won't judge! Dance your little heart out, you groove monkey... okay, that's enough dancing. Stop that.

Very nice, but switching to video format messes up the text layout. Will this be fixed in the future?

You know what I'm probably going to do about that ramzi? Allow users with enough Rep to access full html so they can actually use an embedded audio player if they'd like to.
