This Sunday 11pm EST
This Friday 7pm EST
I watched DBZ, Sailor Moon, Tenchi, Pokemon and other kiddie animes (and the ones on AdultSwim) when I was a little kid but, back then I didn't know what anime was. I'd say it was actually Kodocha (Kodomo no Ommocha) that got me into anime, but that was when I first got a computer and the internet when I was 10. By then I started to realize all the shows I watched when I was younger was called anime and I started to really get into it.
Everything is better if it has zombies in it!!!
Easy, DBZ, Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing and Yu Yu Hakusho.
gundam i think............idk...............
My first anime and my return to anime were both Dragonball Z.
DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing, Trigun, FMA, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, and maybe 1 or 2 others.
My first anime was Project A-Ko. Literally woke up to it when I was four. The one that truly got me interested was Ranma 1/2. Damn, Ukyo's (Kelly Sheridan) voice was sexy....and still is, really.
For me it was Sailor Moon. MY mother used to tell me about Speed Racer, but I did not get to watch that series until waaaay later. It was waking up around 6am to watch Sailor Moon on some random station that kick started everything.
I remeber a friend of mine back in grade school asking me to come over and watch DBZ with him. I had no idea what DBZ was but as i watched nappa tear thro a jet fighter and all of the other DBZ glory i instantly was enchanted. DBZ really set my relationship with anime off. later on i got hooked on gundam wing, RK, and cowboy bebpop. i loved the deep gritty feel to cowboy bepop and it really gave me a diffrent way to look at things as a kid.
Adventure is my cup of tea.
Definitey DBZ. An assist goes to Toonami for making it even cooler with epic promos.
