What's New:
Just as a heads up to the staff, some of the songs i will be posting below are reposts. I deleted the old tread, cleaned up my Music on Soundcloud, then fixed up some songs and gave them actual titles.
For those who have not heard my music, I had originally found toonami aftermath sometime in 2011; i am not exactly sure when but it was right around the time I created this forum account, anyway, This site caused me to get hit with a nasty nostalgic feeling towards the toonami style of music from the early to mid 2000's. over 3 days i created 3 songs to see if the TA staff wanted to make any of their own bumps and use my music. (Never got a reply on that.)
Here for everyone's Listening pleasure are some of those original uploads, plus some new ones, not all toonami related, but all fairly high quality.
I am planning on selling these songs as an EP at some point, but only if people show general interest in the songs. I wouldn't sell them for much. probably $5-$6 for 8-10 songs. So, less than iTunes or Beatport prices.
ENOUGH TALK! LETS HAVE SOME MUSIC!
Track 1 on the possible EP: https://soundcloud.com/digital-values/interstellar-ignition
Track 2: https://soundcloud.com/digital-values/cosmic-beat
Track 3: https://soundcloud.com/digital-values/stardust ***This is not the final Edit! Bass line will be fixed to be in Key. CONSIDER THIS A DEMO VERSION.***
Track 4: https://soundcloud.com/digital-values/digital-values-broadcast
These are the first 4 songs I would put on my Album. TWO of them are available for purchase. those would be Tracks 3 and 4.
Other cool Tracks uploaded:
Relaxing ambient Music:

https://soundcloud.com/digital-values/the-path
Recent remix involving Gandalf Samples: https://soundcloud.com/digital-values/midnight-exile-mad-wizard-remix2
there is a lowbit taster of a DnB Version of the above song also on my soundcloud, but it's really not worth linking to it directly, it's not finished and the mix is terrible.
Thought and Critiques welcome. Unless you lack people skills, then I don't care to hear that you think you know about music creation. As well as prove you know nothing of what I did to make these.

As the topic says, this thread is for the appreciation of metal and all it's genres(I can't believe this hasn't been done already): From Power to Black, from good ol' Judas Priest to Behemoth, show and tell us your favorite Metal band and discuss the pros and cons of their music while expanding our horizons. Maybe find a member with the same taste as you. It doesn't matter, let's just talk metal(like tin and iron lol). Maybe link us to one of your favorite band's song(s ).
I'll start with my personal personal favorite band from my favorite genre. Fucking Black Metal. Starting in Norway by band the Mayhem. Inspired by the lyrical styling of Merciful Fate, HellHammer and most credibly, Bathory and Venom; but the genre itself is purely original and full of hipsters. In it's early years it was the fuel for church burnings and the suicide of one of it's pioneers, followed by the murder of another. God, I love this music, with it's deep atmospheric sound and constant evolution. Black Metal is a constant inspiration for me and is constantly fueling my motivation to continue drawing.
Now for my favorite band, all the way from Finland: Arthemesia.
They are a band consisting of "big" names of the Finnish Metal scene(Ensiferum, wintersun, just to name a few), most notably Jari "Arbaal" Mäenpää from Wintersun.
Currently split up(for good
), they have released two albums entitled Devs - Iratvs and a.O.a.
With a constantly evolving sound(the two albums sound different from each other), they had a promising future. So they disbanded, isn't that always the case.
Here are my two fav's.

Hellsing Ultimate, known simply as Hellsing in Japan, is an original video animation (OVA) series formerly animated by animation studio Satelight and later Madhouse, now being animated by Graphinica (as of OVA VIII) and produced by Geneon. The first fifty minute episode was released to Region 2 DVD in Japan on February 10, 2006.[6] The ending of each episode uses various pieces of instrumental music composed by Hayato Matsuo and performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra up to OVA V. OVAs VI and VII feature vocal closing themes by Japanese rock group Suilen. Titled "Magnolia" and "Shinto-Shite" respectively. The OVA series is licensed for release in the United States by Geneon USA. In producing the English dub of the series, Geneon used much of the original cast from the dub of the anime series, which the company had also licensed. The first episode was released to Region 1 DVD on December 5, 2006, after premiering the episode at the 2006 Anime Expo convention. Though Geneon USA stopped self-distribution of its titles in 2007,[7] it remains the licensor of the series and in 2008 the North American distribution was assumed by Funimation Entertainment.[8] Funimation released the fourth episode on September 23, 2008. Simultaneously, the company re-released the first three episodes. At Anime Expo 2010, Funimation Entertainment announced that they do have all three of the new OVA (episodes 5–7 as of that date) and the original TV series. On July 27, 2011, Hellsing OVA VIII was released in Japan after a long one year and eight month wait, along with the first episode of The Dawn. Hellsing IX was released on February 15, 2012.[9] Funimation Entertainment additionally announced that they licensed the 8th OVA as well as the first four OVAs and will re-release them as well as the previously announced OVAs in 2012.[10] Hellsing Ultimate 5–8 was released on November 13, 2012 as a DVD/Blu-ray set. 1–4 was also released as a DVD/Blu-ray set on October 30, 2012.
For over a century, the Hellsing Organization has been secretly protecting the British Empire from the undead "freaks." When Sir Integra Hellsing succeeded as the head of the organization, she also inherited the ultimate weapon against these undead enemies: a rogue vampire named Alucard. Armed with an enormous "anti-freak" gun and possessing mysterious and frightening powers, Alucard is forced to shoot Seras Victoria, a policewoman held hostage by a vampire. "Do you want to live?" he asks Seras, whose very answer changes the course of her existence. Now reborn as Alucard's servant, Seras is torn between her conflicting humanity and her vampire urges…

I think this would be a perfect series for Toonami because it is one of the better animes of this current generation and it would be perfect for the older audiences who enjoy shows with extreme violence and would fit in with the old school feel of TA. Each OVA is around 50 minutes long so I don't think it would fit the normal line-up but the Sayurday/sunday movie line-up would help it fit in just fine. I know one ova for saturday/sunday may be too short but maybe you could fit in two of the ova's for saturday/sunday (EX. Hellsing Ultimate 1-2 for one night and Helllsing Ultimate 3-4 the next). The series has been completed but unfortunately only OVAs 1-8 are translated in english by funimation but the last two will be translated by the end of this year so TA may not be able to put it in the line-up immediately but eventually some time down the future it might come to the weekend line-up.

Set two years after the end of Final Fantasy VII, a sickness plagues the world, and the dawn of the advent arrives.
It's be really swell to see this movie at least once on Toonami Aftermath. The good thing is, you really don't need to have played the game to enjoy it.
What say ye?
Description: In early 21st century japan, a group of scientists and hospital administrators develop a highly intellegent robot bed to take over the care of the elderly. The first patient who is volunteered is a dying widower Kiyuro Takazawa who is cared for by Haruko, a young nursing student who is concerned for his health and involvement in the experiment which seems to get progressively more suspicious. Little does she know that the bed itself is a government designed experimental robot and Mr. Takazawa, under the delusion that his wife has returned from the dead, no longer wishes to stay put in the hospital.

Reasons: It's funny, sweet, and ridiculous so it should be a treat to both watch and to riff to. It's also a classic for those who may have seen it on Sci-Fi channel (us) years ago. It features big names in its production like Katsuhiro Otomo (AKIRA) Satoshi Kon (Perfect Blue, Paprika), and Hiroyuki Kitakubo (Blood: The Last Vampire, Golden Boy) for those who are interested.
Dub Availability: It is available as an english dub.

Just what is says on the tin, there's 2 new Studio Ghibli Films coming down the line this year. One headed by Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbors the Yamadas) the other headed by Miyazaki (My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky)
To be clear, these aren't movies that have been made already but didn't have an english dub, they're all new projects.
The Takahata movie, Kaguya-Hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya) is based on the folk tale of the same name
The Movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaguya-Hime_no_Monogatari_(film)
The Folk tale: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_the_Bamboo_Cutter
The Miyazaki movie, Kaze Tachinu (The Wind is Rising). Near as I can tell, it's about Jirō Horikoshi, the guy who designed the A6M Zero back in WWII
The Movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaze_Tachinu
The Man: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiro_Horikoshi
The Plane: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_A6M_Zero
These films will be released simultaneously like Totoro and Grave of the Fireflies were back in the day
So what do you think? Pretty cool right? I thought so, at least.
I was poking around, seeing what was customizable, and found this:

If you can't tell from the image, it seems as though the regular button layout (View, Edit, Posts, Track, Badges) seems to remain loaded behind the new buttons that are loaded when one selects "Edit" (Account, Profile, About Me, Personal Information, Technical Information). It's there on any of the "Edit" pages, but it's most prevalent under "Technical Information". I've utilized the highly informative red arrow and circle tools from MSPaint (took me hundreds of hours) to point them out.
A bit of poking around in the page source yeilds the following (the HTML may get filtered out, I'll edit this post if so):
<h2 class="with-tabs">00000100</h2><ul class="arttabs_primary"><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me" class="art-button">View</a></span></li><li><span class="active art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/edit" class="active art-button">Edit</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/posts" class="art-button">Posts</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/track" class="art-button">Track</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/badges" class="art-button">Badges</a></span></li></ul><div class="cleared"></div><ul class="arttabs_secondary"><li><span class="active art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/edit" class="active art-button">Account</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/edit/profile" class="art-button">Profile</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/edit/About%20Me" class="art-button">About Me</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/edit/Personal%20Information" class="art-button">Personal Information</a></span></li><li><span class="art-button-wrapper"><span class="art-button-l"></span><span class="art-button-r"></span><a href="/user/me/edit/Technical%20Information" class="art-button">Technical Information</a></span></li></ul><div class="cleared"></div><form action="/user/me/edit" accept-charset="UTF-8" method="post" id="user-profile-form" enctype="multipart/form-data">
So, clearly, the page is actually loading all of the buttons for some reason. It also seems as though the user object is not passed back correctly, as the links are all functional, and if any of them are clicked it redirects to information about "No User", though the link format is still /user/me/posts. Without knowing how the inheritance for this specific site works, I can only guess as to the root of the problem, but I figured I'd throw this up here and someone with more priviliges than I can look into the actual issue. I doubt this to be the case, but if a lack of HTML knowledge is an issue, I'd be willing to lend my meager know-how in any way that I can.
OMG its 2013 already!
( which means TA will be 3 years old in a month :0 )
Happy New Year Toonami Faithful!

Any resolutions you guys care to share?
